MORE than 360 pupils from an Evesham school hit the right notes as part of a special CD recording.

All the children from Swan Lane First School gathered in their assembly to record a Christmas CD, through School Recording Stars on Monday (November 2).

The festive CD will be available to purchase in the build up to Christmas and includes 12 uplifting songs about friendship and peace, and even features a couple of French songs.

The pupils have also took part in a competition to design the front cover of the CD, with the winner being kept secret until the its release.

Chris Forrester, assistant headteacher said: “We’re proud of the school’s musical heritage and the children have been excited for so long to record the CD.

“It’s definitely the highlight of the year and every copy that’s sold goes to funding school projects just like this.”
