FRIAR TUCK and Lady Godiva lent their support at the launch of Our Heritage, the new loyalty card backed by Evesham’s independent traders.

Following a rallying call for more businesses to get on board earlier this month, the scheme was unveiled to shoppers on Sunday (June 22) during Evesham’s Morris Dancing festival.

Traders such as Plan B Computers, Bonk, Moulton Hair and Beauty, Amber Cafe Bar, Marilyn’s, Master Butchers,Whimsy Antiques, Gummy Gumdrops and Cartridge World are already signed up to the scheme.

The scheme will also have a charitable twist as it will help raise cash for the Bell Tower appeal as a donation will be made when each card is completed.

Friar Tuck aka Dave Purser from the Master Butcher and Lady Godiva (Kim Dunn from Bonk) made an appearance at the launch.

Visit www.realevesham.wix.com/traders for more information about the scheme and how to get involved.
