Man assaulted on Workman Bridge

A POLISH man suffered injuries to his face following an assault by three men on the Workman Bridge.

Witnesses are being sought to the incident which took place about 11.35pm on Sunday (July 6).

Police believe the victim was confronted by a group of men and later assaulted by three individuals.

The victim had injuries to his face for which he was later treated at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.




It is believed that after the attack, the group of men left the Workman Bridge towards Marco Pizza at 11.39pm, and then a smaller group headed towards Bridge Street.

Police are appealing for any witnesses who may have been in the area around the time of the attack, or may have any information regarding those who committed the assault.
