YOUNGSTERS at a Harvington school welcomed members of a village group for a special day of events.
Year five pupils from Harvington First School were tasked with the responsibility of being good hosts as they hosted a CAMEO
(Come and Meet Each Other) session on Wednesday (July 2).
The Harvington CAMEO group is made of local residents of the village’s St James Church group and they were treated to a
Victorian quiz and chats with the pupils who asked them what school life was like back when they were younger.
Class teacher Becky Enstone said: “The children did really well and were confident throughout. “Sessions like these increase their social and conversational skills.”
