SUNDAY was packed with activity for the Evesham Wheelers as the C run members attended the Evesham CycleFest and were joined by 70 riders on the family run over 20 miles.
A broad spectrum of participants joined in, with the youngest aged just six. As a result of a fine day and large attendance, it was no surprise that many signed as full-time Wheelers members.
On the same day Tracy Dresch, Sean Wilkinson, Justin Neales and Richard Rhodes rode the Macmillan Shakespeare Autumn 100-mile event – a leisurely cyclosportive that passes through South Warwickshire and the Cotswolds.
Finally, the club’s fast riders on the A run got in their end of summer run to Tenbury Wells – a tough route of just over 100 miles with lots of climbing including the challenging ascent of Clee Hill amongst many others.
Riders arrived back late in the afternoon after a challenging yet immensely rewarding early autumn day.
