Hoping this idea will grow

AN APPEAL for help to breathe new life into a Pershore allotment site has been launched.

Age UK Herefordshire and Worcestershire are working in partnership with Rooftop Housing and Tesco to get the space near Nogains Road up and running again after little activity on the site over the last couple of years. The trio are looking for

volunteers to help get it started and particularly someone who would like to manage the project.

Kim Skipsey, support worker – health and wellbeing at Rooftop said: “This project provides a great way to get out into the fresh air, meet new friends, and pass on any experience people may have on growing on an allotment. Volunteers who are new to

this are also more than welcome.”

Anyone wishing to find out more about the project should call Kim Skipsey on 07854717430 or e-mail [email protected] for more information.
