PERSHORE team Rob Austin Racing has unveiled its new-look Audi A4s that will contest this year’s Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship.
Before hundreds of media at the BTCC’s pre-season Media Day launch at Donington Park circuit, drivers Rob Austin (Evesham) and Hunter Abbott (Maidenhead) pulled the wraps off their respective cars Sherman and Panzer that have both undergone considerable aesthetic changes.
An even bolder ‘flame’ livery in deference to leading UK fuel additive company FAST Exocet’s colours plus wider flared front and rear bodywork make the cars among the most photogenic on the BTCC grid.
Additional major support comes from AlcoSense, Britain’s leading manufacturer of home breathalyser kits, plus DUO Plc.
The team will enter the BTCC – one of the world’s top motor racing championships – under the Exocet AlcoSense banner.
2015 will mark RAR’s fifth consecutive season in the BTCC and the 2015 campaign starts with the first three of its 30 races at the Brands Hatch circuit in Kent this Easter Weekend (April 4-5) in front of live ITV4 cameras and an anticipated capacity trackside crowd.
