PERSHORE Town earned a hard fought and well deserved point with a 0-0 draw at second placed Bromsgrove Sporting in Midland Football League Division One on Saturday.
Pershore were the better team in the first half and, whilst goalscoring opportunities were limited, Town enjoyed more of the possession and were not threatened by the hosts.
The second half saw Bromsgrove have far more of the ball as they played down the slope and hit Pershore’s woodwork, although Town remained dangerous on the break.
The point lifted Town a further place up the table to 17th ahead of Saturday’s home game against fourth placed Hinckley AFC at the Winstanley King George V Stadium.
