Second half fightback sees Lenches claim a point against Shipston Excelsior

LENCHES netted three second-half goals to earn a entertaining 3-3 draw with Shipston Excelsior in Under-13s Pool A of the Ambassador Evesham League.

Only a handful of games escaped the dismal weather to be played across the league but Lenches and Shipston put on a fantastic show at Lenches Sports Pavilion.

Oscar Hair, Arlie Williams and Harry Jeavons hit the net for Shipston but Lenches replied with three second half goals from Romeo Johnson-Williams, Thomas Dixon and Eden McPherson.

Tewkesbury Town Colts claimed a 4-2 win at Moreton Rangers in a game full of goals and passion. Connor Hitchman and Richard Lamb hit the Moreton goals but Tewksbury hit back with Henry McMahon (2), Finlay Hulse and Daniel Moss on target.




Droitwich Spa Cobras moved into the top four of the Under-18s after cruising to a 7-2 victory at Pershore Town.The Pershore goals came from Oliver Lees and Charlie Sharp.
