EVESHAM United have unveiled their pre-season schedule as they prepare for the forthcoming Southern League Division One South & West campaign.
Paul Collicutt’s side host League Two’s Newport County in their opening friendly on Tuesday, July 8 (7.45pm), before welcoming another League Two outfit to the Jubilee Stadium on July 12 (3pm) when neighbours Cheltenham Town visit.
A trip to Ledbury Town then follows on July 15 (7.30pm) before a visit to local rivals Pershore Town on July 18 (7.30pm).
United then host Stourbridge on July 22 (7.45pm) before Worcester City arrive on July 25 (7.45pm).
Gosport Borough are at the Jubilee on July 27 (noon) and then comes the visit of Littleton on July 29 (7.45pm) before a trip to Bewdley Town completes the programme on August 2 (3pm).
Meanwhile, the Robins have swooped to sign striker Ashley Edenborough from fellow Southern League Division One South & West side Swindon Supermarine.
The 28-year-old scored 29 goals last season, which helped Marine reach the play-off semi-final. The season before he grabbed 26 goals in the league and league cup.
Edenborough has also played for Fairford Town, Chippenham Town and Cirencester Town.
Defenders Jamie Sauntson and Will Wellon have both agreed to remain at Evesham for the 2014/15 season.
