PHIL SIMNETT took first place when Jubilee members fished a silvers match across all three pools at the Jubilee fishery last Sunday.
Simnett, on Phil’s 16, won the match catching skimmers for a total of 7lb 11oz.
Just four ounces separated the next three anglers.
Andy Mitchell was second, with 6lb 10oz, ahead of Phil Seedhouse (6lb 8oz) and Billy Pitman (6lb 6oz).
Section winners were Ron Evans 5lb 10oz, Jim Bennett 5lb 7oz, Stu Thomson 5lb 3oz and Chris Cole 3lb 7oz.
