BRETFORTON Ladies Hockey Club are looking forward to the new season with hope and excitement.
The first XI have a new captain this year in the shape of the massively experienced Tessa Lewinton who will lead the Pink Ladies into the Premier 2A Division with a view to going one place better this season and winning the league.
Finishing second last season was an amazing effort for the squad but to kick on and try to improve is always the aim.
The second XI are also looking up after their well deserved promotion into Severn Division 2 and, with their captain Natalie Benwell leading the way again, anything is possible.
Her squad full of youth and experience is simply getting better every year.
Training starts on September 10 at the Evesham High School astro pitch and – as ever – everyone is welcome to attend. If you are desperate to get back into hockey or simply have a bit of fun and fitness then Bretforton Hockey Club is the place for you.
Training starts at 7pm and is led by the excellent coach Stuart Bearcroft. All ages and experiences are catered for so come along for a runaround and a laugh.
