THE EVESHAM & District Skittles League presentation evening was held recently and it attracted a really good turnout of the majority of winning teams and individuals.
It was a special occasion for Badsey Rec, who lifted the Champion of Champions Shield – which is played between the winners of the four divisions – as well as picking up the Knock Out and King Pin cups.
In addition to winning Division One, Badsey Rec also won the 4-a-side, were runners-up in the 5-a-side King Pin and won the Gents Highest Individual score (Richard Townsend, 65), Highest Gents Average (James Wilks, 46.22) and the Brian Jinks Memorial Trophy for the highest overall average of the season (Ian Hardwick, 46.24).
