BIRDSEYE Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Three outfit Ashton 88 responded to the previous week’s heavy defeat by hitting double figures against Ruby Jacks as goals from Fisher (2), White (2), Craze, Begley, James, Charman, Evans and an own goal secured a 10-1 home win.

Sun Inn head the division after coming from behind to win 4-2 at Stour Excelsior Reserves. Mumford and Venditto scored for Stour but it was in vain as Watts netted a hat-trick and Davies also scored for the visitors.

Much-fancied Dragons powered past visitors Fortis 7-1 thanks to goals from Lane (2), Sheppard (2), Jennings (2) and Pilling, whilst Leyden scored for Fortis.

Newcomers Avon Titans are still searching for their first point after narrowly losing 2-1 at Pebworth. Skinner and McGinley scored for the home team and Phipps was on the mark for Titans.




Stratford United won 3-2 at Ambi Allsports with goals from Drake, Spilsbury and Dolce, with Ambi on the mark through Dawe and Booth.

Bengeworth and visitors Quinton drew 2-2 as Irons and Burford scored for the hosts and Pearson and Morse did likewise for Quinton.


Alderton continue to set the pace in Division Two after comfortably winning 9-3 at Evesham United Sunday thanks largely to hat-tricks from Matt Greaves and Matt Baker.

Harvington are second having ended Mickleton Rangers’ good start to the season with a 5-1 away win through goals from Woodfield (2), Davies (2) and Wallace.

Perks and Taylor were on target for Cropthorne as they defeated visitors Tesco United 3-0 and Ecosamba picked up their first point of the season with a 1-1 draw at home to New Inn as Bennett scored for the Bishops Cleeve side and Brant netted for the visitors.

Second half goals from Wood (2), Chris Clements and Dickenson earned Charlton Old Boys the points as they won 4-1 at home to Broadway United Reserves, for whom Campbell scored.

Tewkesbury Town won 5-2 at Badsey Recreation with goals from Chris Dyson (2), Kieron Dyson, Sutherland and Tarling.

Bretforton Old Boys and Pinvin United maintained their perfect starts in Division One.

Bretforton won 7-1 at home to Bear as Jamie Clarke scored five goals and Will Gayton bagged a brace, with Croy the solitary marksman for Bear.

Pinvin United defeated visitors Jacksons Fairfield 4-1 thanks to a Mark Bellamy hat-trick and champions Evesham WMC earned their first win of the season with a 4-1 home victory over Inkberrow in which Grady (2), Ford and Smith scored for the hosts and Grant netted for Inkberrow.

Broadway United hit eight without reply against visitors Bredon through Jason Horsburgh (3), Jeffs (2), Aspey, Sallis and Craig, whilst Alcester Town got back to winning ways with a 3-1 victory at Cider Mill in which Matt Layton (2) and Dawe scored for Town and Reading was on the mark for the hosts.
