STUDENTS and staff from Pershore High School have welcomed 11 Zambians to the town as part of a two-week exchange trip.
As part of the 13-year partnership between the school and Lubuto High School in Ndola, Zambia, two teachers and nine students will take part in workshops, roadshows and trips to Worcester, Broadway, Stratford, London, Farnborough Air Show and the Gower Peninsula, before flying back to Africa on Tuesday (July 12).
Headteacher Clive Corbett said: “We’re pleased to welcome Christine Mwanza, Isaac Muhandu and the nine students to our town.
“We’re hugely indebted to teachers Laura Webb, Matt Lake, Leane Watkin and Tom Oakley for hosting our visitors and arranging the itinerary.”
