BUDDING young actors from Evesham are set to make a debut stage appearance at The Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-Upon-Avon.
The production, An Audience With Words, will be performed next Tuesday (July 19) at The Other Place, one of the smaller stage areas at the RST, and will feature performances from a group of Evesham teenagers.
Show Director Eric Jones has been tutoring youngsters from Evesham and Harvington for their LAMDA acting exams, and they will be performing several pieces from Shakespeare to Oscar Wilde at the one-off show.
Eric said: “Taking a small group, rehearsing them individually or in small groups means we can put together a complete evening in less than a month.
“Some have just finished exams, or come back from university after their first year, and a few more are adults keen to take part.”
There are just 50 tickets available for the performance, which starts at 7.30pm.
Tickets cost £6.00 and available by calling Eric Jones on 01386 48788.
