WHETHER it is the first minute or the last minute, a goal that wins a game is so important.
So it was in the England football game in the World Cup Qualifying Round last Sunday.
Whilst a win is a win whenever the goal is scored, it is not always a good idea to leave things until the last minute.
That is so true in every aspect of life because by leaving it until the last minute can cause us to miss out on some of the most important things in our lives.
I am sure that, like me, you have failed to claim the best answer to a situation because we have left things until the last minute and time has sadly run out.
We live in an age where we always seem to be rushing here and there without a minute to spare and at the end of the day we have to wonder, where has the time gone.
The Bible tells us that God never rushes and He is always on time. One verse in the New Testament says, “Well, now is the right time to listen, the day to be helped. Don’t put it off, don’t frustrate God’s work by showing up late”.
There is nothing worse than showing up late for an appointment so why not make time for God by reading the Bible and hearing of the great Love and Salvation, which can be ours through His Son Jesus Christ.
