Shoppers roll up for games at town shopping centre

EVESHAM’S Riverside Shopping Centre has once again played host a number of exciting events for shoppers young and old to enjoy.

‘Let the Games Begin’ was held by Bonka’s Entertainment to tie in with the Rio Olympics and invited Vale youngsters to compete in a selection of table games.

The overall winner was Aimee Stone, 12, who was presented with prize of a Pokémon Monopoly board game by centre administrator Mandy Barnett.

The circus came to Evesham on August 10 as the Riverside Circus Explosion Event brought the thrills and spills of the big top to the Vale.




A number of free attractions were on offer including a circus skills workshop for all ages and circus shows throughout the day.

And the recent warm weather was also welcome for the centre’s summer garden event which again offered a host of free attractions.


An inflatable slide, bouncy castle, trampoline, soft play area, giant Connect 4 were all on offer for youngsters to enjoy while parents could watch on from a seating area with magazines to read.
