AN 82-year-old woman has been taken to hospital following a crash involving three cars which has closed part of the A46.
Emergency services were called to the scene just off the Teddington Hand’s roundabout at about 11am this morning (Wednesday).
It’s believed the 82-year-old woman’s car rolled twice following a collision with a car travelling in the opposite direction.
She was taken to Cheltenham General Hospital as a precaution according to a West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman.
After crashing into the 82-year-old’s car, the male driver then hit a third car 100 yards further up the road.
He was discharged at the scene after complaining of neck pain.
The male driver of the third car was uninjured, but his female passenger was taken to Gloucestershire Royal Hospital suffering from neck pain.
The A46 has now reopened between the Teddington Hand’s roundabout at Beckford following the crash which closed it for about seven hours.
