CARING members of Pershore Rugby Club ditched the oval ball for buckets, sponges and paintbrushes as part of the annual WorkForce day.
Players from the minis/juniors, women’s and seniors teams came together to give the clubhouse and grounds some much needed TLC.
There was plenty to do on the day with the senior players tackling the larger jobs while younger members made sure the kit was cleaned and ready for next season.
Publicity officer Chris Bracewell said: “With England hosting the Rugby World Cup in September, the club is holding several open days so it was especially important that the clubhouse looks its best.”
