RBL shop pops up

Evesham Editorial 7th Aug, 2015 Updated: 20th Oct, 2016   0

THE EVESHAM branch of the Royal British Legion has opened a new pop in shop in the heart of the town centre.

Based at ImaGine, the shop will raise awareness of it’s work in helping serving and ex-servicemen and women and their dependants.

The shop will be open every Thursday from midday until 4pm at ImaGine in the heart of Market Square.

Branch chairman, Alan Booth said: “We hear only too often from serving or ex-servicemen that they had been injured in one conflict or another.

“They are unable to gain assistance because they received treatment while in the service but this very often cannot be followed up through lack of information on who to approach when they leave,” he added.

Anyone interested is invited to visit the shop for an informal chat or to talk about assistance with a disability.

The shop will be open for a trial basis, for more information call 01386 48687 or e-mail [email protected]
