EVESHAM’S Shambling Pirates handed over their £3,000 treasure to a popular Vale charity.

Colin Lewis-Painter chairman of Evesham Round Table handed over a cheque on behalf of the ‘Shambling Pirates’ to Olivia Haynes towards her Olivia’s Dream fund.

Evesham Round Tablers in the guise of the ‘Shambling Pirates, drove across Europe in a £300 car as part of the Monte Carlo or Bust Banger Rally

And their efforts have seen the pirates raise in excess of £3,000 for Olivia’s Dream, helping Olivia receive the aftercare she requires following her SDR operation in June.

“I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who donated to the ‘Shambling Pirates and especially to Ronan Strong for the support given by Walsh Mushrooms to help us raise such an amazing amount,” Colin said.
