PUPILS at Bengeworth Academy will now be able to develop their skills even further thanks to a brand new outdoor classroom.
Parents and local companies contributed to the project to get it off the ground at the Burford Road School, including Chris Fereday, the manager of Buildbase in Evesham, who donated lots of materials to enhance the outdoor learning environment.
The pupils in reception now have a brand new construction area to improve their motor skills, a mud kitchen to improve imaginary role-play skills and spaces where they can undertake their creative writing outside as well as inside.
Teacher Oliver Roberts said: “At Bengeworth Academy we believe the outdoor environment plays a key role in children’s development.
“The area has been continuously updated throughout the year and we look forward to making more improvements during the coming year.”
