A MAN was left with facial injuries after an assault outside the Ambassador Snooker Club.
The incident occurred between 11.45pm on Sunday, January 31 and 1.30am on Monday, February 1.
Police are now appealing for anyone to come forward who may have witnessed the assault which left the victim in hospital.
Officers are particularly keen to speak to those who live in the flats that overlook the Snooker Club on Avon Street.
Anyone with information is urged to call the police on 101 quoting incident number 40s of February, or information can be given anonymously by calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
