EVESHAM and Pershore residents are been sought to be part of a new dance project at a National Trust site.
Dancefest is looking for 100 people to be part of ‘Vista’, a free community dance performance which will take place on the historic heritage site of Croome Court next Saturday (July 16) and Sunday (July 17).
The group is creating a Movement Choir where large groups of people will perform simple movements in big spaces throughout the parkland, to bring to life the landscape created by Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown.
Rose Beeston, Dancefest’s director, said: “We want this to be an event to surprise and delight, to help visitors see Croome in a new way.
“We also want to inspire people to dance, so we’re looking for people of all ages to get involved in this special project and take part.”
There will be rehearsals on Sunday (July 10) from 10am to 4pm and on Friday (July 15) from 6.30pm to 9pm and the main performance will take place at 2pm on both Saturday and Sunday.
No previous dance experience is necessary and no singing is involved.
