CALLS for help are being sent out to the Pershore community to identify an historian’s photographs which were left alone after his passing.
Dr Marshall Wilson, a much loved local GP and a renowned historian left boxes of old photographs of Pershore people, places and events which have left family members scratching their heads on who and what the photos show.
Chairman of the Pershore Civic Society, Judy Dale said: “The society, Heritage and History Society and members of the Wilson family would like to invite Pershore residents to look at some of these photos and help us to identify them. It will be fun to reminisce.”
The event takes place Saturday (June 27) from 10am to 3pm in St Andrew’s Centre, next to Pershore Abbey.
Entrance is free and refreshments are available.
