MORE than 50 Santa’s could be seen in Pershore last weekend as the the town’s carnival committee held its annual Santa fun run.
Abbey Park was was packed for the popular event which saw Pershore Mayor Coun Tony Rowley lend his support to the event.
Runners dressed in fancy dress and festive costumes and then set off for the two-lap run around the park.
A committee spokesman said: “Despite the wet and cold weather, many braved the elements in their festive costumes.
“The carnival committee would like to thank everyone for taking part and helping make our fund-raising event a success.
“Special thanks go to Spencer, his team and their customers at the Brandy Cask their sponsorship of the event,” he added.
The Brandy Cask customers sponsored Spencer to run the race with all the proceeds going to 2016 Pershore Carnival
