A POPULAR Evesham shop is enjoying sweet success after celebrating its first birthday.
Family-run Strawberry Couch opened its doors in May of last year by husband and wife, Tara and Paul Baird, who offer an eccentric mix of traditional and modern sweets, including a large selection of exclusive American candy, toys and gifts.
The Bridge Street shop has grown from strength to strength over the past year, and last Saturday (May 16) celebrated their first year in business with goody bags and balloons for the youngsters, a raffle with prize hampers and on the day special offers.
Owner Tara Baird said: “It has been a fabulous year that has seen the shop go from strength to strength and our fabulously eclectic product range grow and grow.
“We started with a little bit of everything to see what our customers wanted and we are pleased to be able to report that everything is selling and we have introduced many new lines and are always open to suggestions and requests from customers.”
