THE SEVENTH annual Hampton Ferry Show has been hailed a huge success after providing another action-packed family fun-day.

Thousands of Vale residents were treated to a wide range of activities including circus skills, art workshops, a climbing wall and pony rides last Sunday (August 7).

An array of music and dance acts from United Dance Academy, Boogie Bounce Xtreme, Evesham Community Choir, BL3ND and Eve Linton got feet tapping, while Evesham Dogs Trust’s popular Novelty Dog Show drew in the crowds.

As well as a soft play zone, smoothie juice bike and the Wallace House Games for youngsters to enjoy, there was also a range of stalls including Hampton Farm Shop’s Therapies’.

More than £800 was also raised by the show’s popular charity stalls.

Even the show’s special guest ‘Darth Vadar’ got in on the day’s action and proved to be the perfect goalkeeper in the penalty shoot out.

Show organiser Fran Webb said: “Even more attractions were included this year to ensure visitors had a great day out. The weather was perfect and our free show was enjoyed by all.”
