A RALLYING call has been made by Evesham Adventure Playground calling on town residents to vote for them to win more than £12,000 from the M&S Energy Fund.
If the Woodlands playground wins it will be able to spend the cash on fitting solar panels to the building to reduce energy costs and to show youngsters the benefits producing clean energy has on the environment.
Dave Boucker, Programme Manager at the Evesham Adventure Playground, said: “Our Adventure Playground tries to teach children about sustainability-putting it into practice helps our charity to survive.
“If we win, we can install solar panels on our building cutting our energy costs. If children see the solar panels working and providing energy, they will grow to adulthood with the knowledge and confidence that it’s the right way –the way we did it at the adventure playground- please vote for us.”
