A PRESTIGIOUS travel and tourism award has been presented to an historic National Trust attraction.
Croome, near Pershore has received the ‘Certificate of Excellence’ by TripAdvisor for 2015, which was voted for by members of the public who visited the attraction over the last few months.
The vote of excellence is another exciting milestone for the historic house and park as the team are also celebrating receiving over 170,000 visitors last year and 2015 is set to be another record breaker with more visitors enjoying the new Sky Café, the Lost Tapestries exhibition and a new wartime museum.
TripAdvisor’s Certificate of Excellence celebrates an elite level of hospitality and to qualify, businesses must maintain an overall rating of four stars or higher, out of a possible five, as reviewed by travellers on TripAdvisor.
Amy Forster-Smith, house and visitor experience manager said: “We’ve had another record breaking year in 2014 at Croome and we’re so proud that the team’s hard work has been recognised by this award.
“This award is particularly significant as it is based on ratings from the people that are most important to us, our visitors!”
