BROADWAY is preparing to host an action packed weekend of family fun festivities.
The village’s annual Horticultural and Craft Show and Food Festival are inviting Vale residents to explore and enjoy a weekend of activities to round off the summer on Saturday (September 12) and Sunday (September 13).
The Horticultural and Craft Show will host outside stalls, refreshments and a live band to entertain visitors while they can enjoy displays of locally grown fruits, vegetables and flowers.
The Food Festival will have something to get the tastebuds tingling through an array of quality food and drink, along with cookery demonstrations, activities for children and a collection of classic vintage cars.
Broadway Hotel’s chef will join others from Vale hotels and restaurants to demonstrate unique ways to use local produce, and outside stalls will include brewers, distillers, jam makers, bee keepers and cheese makers.
The Horticultural and Craft Show will take place on the Saturday from 1pm to 4.30pm on the village green with tickets costing £1 for adults and free for children.
The Food Festival will take place on Sunday from 10am to 4pm, also on the village green with free admission.
