Bikes worth more than £9,000 stolen in Vale raids

IMAGES have been released of racing bikes worth more than £9,000 which were stolen in two separate raids in Evesham

The first theft occurred between 10am on Saturday (June 6) and 8am on Sunday (June 7) on Owletts End.

Thieves forced entry to the property’s garage and stole four racing pedal bikes, collectively worth more than £5,000.

One of the bicycles is a Boardman and grey in colour while the other three are Argon 18s, a Krypton model and white and red in colour and two Radon models – one black and white and the other red and white.




The second theft happened on Laurels Road in Offenham between 11pm on Monday (June 8) and 6am on Tuesday (June 9)

Raiders forced entry to the property’s shed and stole two racing pedal bikes, worth around £4,000 in total.


One is a Pinarello Paris and the other a Scott Plasma and officers are linking the two thefts.

Police are asking anyone who saw suspicious activity in either of these areas to call them on 101, quoting incidents 178S of Sunday 7 June and 47S of Tuesday 9 June.

Anyone who has seen these bicycles being sold in the area is also asked to alert police.
