WITNESSES are being sought following a burglary at a business premises on Evesham High Street.

The property is located between where the road becomes Vine Street and the junction with Oat Street.

The alarm was triggered at 3.39am on Wednesday (November 18) after someone entered the property by breaking through the wall of the adjacent property.

The intruder entered the adjacent property through the rear entrance which backs on to Brick Kiln Street.

PC Sly said: “It is clear that whoever carried out this burglary would have been well equipped, made a lot of noise and been in the adjacent property for some time prior to when the alarm was activated.

“We’re keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time or who saw or heard something suspicious.

“It would appear the intruders were scared off by the activation of the alarm or disturbed in some other way and fled the scene empty handed.”

If anyone has any information that can help police with their enquiries they should call 101 and quote incident 140s of 18th November 2015.

Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or viawww.crimestoppers-uk.org
