EVESHAM Arts Centre will swing back to the 1960s next week when a tribute show celebrates a decade of fun.
With an interesting twist on the usual tribute show, The Counterfeit Sixties showcase all of the greatest bands of the ultimate decade in popular music on Friday (July 25) starting at 7.30pm.
The show features the sounds of The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Dave Clark Five, The Kinks and The Monkees as well as classics by Simon Dupree, The Lemon Pipers, The Spencer Davis Group, the Equals & the Nashville Teens.
Complete with authentic clothing, haircuts and supported by live-action footage interspersed with flashbacks to the 1960s television programmes and adverts, the show is a true blast from the past.
This experienced band of musicians, devoted to 1960s music, have all worked with original Sixties artists during their careers.
The Counterfeit Sixties have toured their unique tribute act all over the UK to rave reviews and delighted audiences with their true sixties experience.
Tickets cost £16 (£14 concessions) and are available by visiting www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk or by calling the Box Office on 01386 446944.
