VALE youngsters are inviting Pershore residents to join them on the ‘yellow brick road’ in their production of a legendary family classic.
Cropthorne with Charlton CE First School will present their adaptation of the 1939 musical comedy The Wizard of Oz at Pershore’s Number 8 Community Arts Centre on Wednesday, March 16 and Thursday, March 17.
The heart-warming tale will tell the story of when Hurricane Barney whisked Dorothy and Toto away from Cropthorne, as she desperately tries to return home and hopes the Wizard of Oz will grant her wish.
Join the magical journey with Dorothy as she travels to Oz and beyond meeting friends and enemies along the way.
This event will be performed by pupils from reception through to Year 5.
The 90 minute production includes an interval and will run from 1.30pm on Wednesday and 7pm on Thursday.
Tickets cost £8 for adults and £5 for children under 16.
