MEMBERS of Evesham Operatic and Dramatic Society (EODS) will celebrate their 134th year with a show-stopping production at the town’s popular arts centre.

The Music in Me will be held from Thursday, March 26 to Saturday March 28 at the Victoria Avenue venue from 7.30pm each evening.

Everyone has a particular piece of music that sparks a treasured memory, that musical guilty pleasure you just can’t resist.

Everyone has music that has helped and healed, inspired and educated and The Music in Me is a celebration of those moments.

A unique production featuring a range of songs personally selected by members of the company for the effect it has had on their lives.

Directed and choreographed by Chloe French, with additional choreography by Hayley Roberts, Polly-Emily Taylor and Ellie Baldwin, ‘The Music in Me’ brings together the best of stage, screen, and song.

Music from the likes of Whitney Houston, Michael Buble and Freddie Mercury as well as a selection of West End favourites including West Side Story, Godspell and Wicked are part of a packed programme.

“The Music in Me is a really exciting project for EODS.” Chloe said.

“I think that audiences will be pleasantly surprised at the courage, sincerity and proficiency of the company.” she added.

Tickets are £12 (£10 concessions and groups of eight or more) and are available online at www.eveshamartscentre.co.uk or from the Almonry on 01386 446944
