A CRACKING family show is set to come to Evesham when the award-nominated Immersion Theatre and the critically-acclaimed Cambridge Touring Theatre join forces.

The popular groups will come together on March 7 at Evesham Arts Centre for a spectacular music adaptation of The Wind in the Willows.

Audiences can join boat-loving Ratty, sensible yet curious Mole, wise old Badger and the fantastically irrepressible Toad as they embark on the adventure of a lifetime, culminating in a colourful battle with a pair of pick-pocketing weasels to save Toad

Hall.

Eye-catchingly elaborate costumes, toe-tapping music and larger than life characters promise to capture the imagination of the youngest of audience members.

The sheer nostalgic charm of this beloved story is guaranteed to take older generations on a glorious trip down memory lane.

This larger-than-life production will be directed by Immersion Theatre’s Artistic Director, James Tobias, and will see Immersion’s resident creative team produce Cambridge Touring Theatre’s hugely popular adaptation of this iconic classic.

With Immersion Theatre’s trademark energy which audiences are growing to expect and love, and Cambridge Touring Theatre’s undeniably catchy original score, Wind in the Willows is guaranteed to have everyone smiling from beginning to end.

The Wind in the Willows will be staged at the Victoria Avenue venue from 4.30pm on Sunday, March 7.

Tickets are £8 for children and £10 for adults and are on sale now from the Almonry, by calling 01386 446944 or online at www.EveshamArtsCentre.co.uk
